I love history and take a special interest in Black history. There are so many little known individuals that played an important role in the history of Canada.

I just finished visiting Tom Martin's topic and learned a lot reading his contributions to the BHM Event. Thanks for hosting the event again this year. It is my favorite. I always learn a lot from reading the articles that are submitted and approved.

Thanks for the comments on the article. I know that we share a love of history. I also enjoy your topic very much.

Things have been a little frigid here since the beginning of Jan. However, the last few days have been mild. We'll make it and spring is just around the corner. I can't wait to see my snowdrops and other spring flowers poking their noses out of the ground.
