» jerrib - This is a wonderful history of a remarkable woman, Mary

I enjoyed learning about her and her important accomplishments. I think when you work for equality and help others the hard way you get more out of life, though the road may be hard at times.

Thanks for the intro. to an acccomplished lady.

Lee,

So nice to see you. Yes, Cora's story is very interesting.

Sorry I haven't been over to visit in a while. Things are a bit chaotic here. Will be over soon.
Hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Linda,

Cora certainly is an inspiration to all women. She stuck to her guns and was very successful.

I enjoy the store a lot and so the long hours don't bother me much. Business is picking up each week and it will soon be time for Christmas shopping. In fact, have had some grandma's doing a bit already. Please keep the business in your prayers. Getting established is always the trick. Word of mouth the best advertisement.

Hope all is well with you and yours. Drop me a line when you can.

Hi Red,

Very inspiring article. I like her attitude.

Thanks for letting us know more about famous Canadians.

Must have been a dull place for women before they were allowed intellectual and artistic freedom. I like to see people move ahead with their lives whether in great or small ways.

Thanks,
Tom

Jerri,

I try to find interesting topics for my articles and am glad that you enjoy them. Canada has many great people in her history and Cora Hind is just one of them. I will try to find more remarkable people for history month, which is coming up before we know it.

Hope you are enjoying your new home. Have a safe and happy holiday season.
