Hi Mary,

Wonderful article! I visited the link for the tour and got goosebumps listening to the music. What happened to these people was a disgrace, much like what happened to Native Americans. So many injustices in our history!

I really enjoyed learning more about the underground railroad. I also learned that my house, which was built in 1865, was probably not a part of the underground railroad as was rumored, since the 13th Amendment to the United States Constitution outlawed slavery in 1865!
