I appreciate your support.I am glad you enjoyed visiting the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario with me and finding the peace and tranquility that I found there. Dwight and I had planned on going again while he was recuperating but the doctors have kept him so busy with testing that we haven't been able to. I would love to go again. Take care and thanks for stopping by. You always add so much to my discussions. We will talk soon. -- posted by Red » Red - Shannon, thanks for... stopping by and leaving such wonderful comments. The place of "Peace" you and your husband found sounds truly magical...how special for the two of you.Your photos add to the beauty of your words, Mary. I'm sure the memories you have of this lovely spot will always remain with you. Oh that we could all find such a place of "peace" whenever we feel the need to "get away from it all!" Thank you for sharing your beautiful experiences with us, and I do hope you will get to return to this lovely spot again soon! Take care! -- posted by Naomi_Mathews » Red - Naomi, thanks for... visiting and for your kind words about the article. The Haliburton Highlands of Ontario are picturesque and beautiful. They are abundant in wildlife and I really enjoy going there. We were hoping to go there again this year, but Dwight's health won't permit. I will be over to visit your topic shortly. Oh, by the way, Brandon spotted a Monarch the other day. The first of the year and its already August. The Monarch has sure diminished here since I was young and that is a shame. They are so lovely and there's nothing like spotting a butterfly to make your heart soar. We will talk soon and thanks once again for dropping by. Your posting added much to my discussion. -- posted by Red » silverslipper - At Peace Mary, what a wonderful trip! The pictures are fantastic. What I would give to see that moose. I bet he was beautiful swimming that lake with the fog moving in. Thank you for taking us along on your trip. Till later...-- posted by silverslipper » Red - Silverslipper, thanks ... for dropping by and also for your lovely comments. That mooose was one of the most magnificent things I have ever seen. They are fantastic creatures. It was wonderful so watch him disappear into the fog that threw its soft veil over the lake. If you ever come up, we will have to take a drive up to the Haliburton Highlands. It is a great place to visit and not far from Algonquin Park.

Your pictures were beautiful and the imagery you used really made me see it. I hope you understand my technical difficulties. Sorry about it. -- posted by shannon415 » Red - Shannon, you did... indeed post on this article. It is on the previous page. Once there have been 10 postings, you cannot see them all at once. Look in the upper left corner and there it says message 1 to 10 and message 11 to 13 or whatever.I am glad you dropped by again. It is always nice to have you visit my discussion area. Your comments add so much. Take care my good friend and don't let anyone discourage you from reaching out and grabbing your dreams. -- posted by Red « Previous 1 2 3 4 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
