What a beautiful story. It brought back memories of my childhood days on the farm. Thanks so much for sharing it. I am going to look up the book at the library. Sounds like something I would enjoy.

The axe was used for many things on the farm and you have covered most of them. A delightful article. I'm so glad I stopped by. Fantastic Father's Day tribute.
