Our family decided to take the plunge into the world of pop-up comping after years of tent camping. We wanted to keep our purchase price below $4,500 and went to the Starcraft and Coleman dealers. The Starcraft dealer had nothing we liked in our price range. The Coleman dealer had several including a new Taos but after seeing a 2002 Viking Saga 2308, in like new condition for $4,000, we fell in love. We just liked the layout as we have 3 kids who tend to want to bring a friend or two along and the 2308 can be made into 4 sleeping areas which can handle up to 8 people. There are very few posts about the Viking brand and the 2308 in particular, but any info would be greatly appreciated. We take our first weekend trip this Friday to try things out.
