Hi all...Let me say I really enjoy this site and all the info. We have been tent campers for about 10 years and recently purchased a 1995 Palomino popup - ac/3 way frig/awning/screen room. I have two questions:

1) when cranking it up, we hear a loud "popping" sound - it doesn't seem to be stuck and keeps on going up - any ideas?

2) we can't garage it, so we are considering buying a cover for it. I have read some comments that say this will cause moisture to build up under the cover and ruin the top. ???
