Bought it used. It was a good trailer traded it for a used Viking which is also a good trailer. Quality of workmanship not as good as the Rockwood but has the features I wanted. I would say that Coleman is the best but went with the Viking for the extras at a lower cost -- posted by mrbuddyo » Dlyrius - Another 1967 Sears Popup Trailer Question I folks, i was happy to find you all discussing these little trailers. I am currently looking at one to buy (needed a small one so my 4cyl S10 could actually pull it). It is a '67 Sears and says "traveler" on the side (i only have a bad pic from owner of it). Can anyone point me in the direction of docs with the floor plan, or better pictures of it (we are awaiting an appointment to go see it). The guy is asking $600 for it (which is amusing considering its original price looks to be around $450), and i would like to have my ducks in a row so i can dicker with him on the price. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!-- posted by Dlyrius » crackerstacker65 - Re: Re: Re: pop up problems! In response to message posted by PathsBeyond:Can you please tell me more about this repair? I just bought a 7starcraftft stardust8. It is in great shape except for a broken lifting cable and the right rear corner is popped up. I would like to repair it myself. Any advise? -- posted by crackerstacker65 » maryanne531 - old 60's tent top trailer shell wanted Not a pop up, but an old canvas topper is what I seek, canvas and cushions are not important. Bows are an important consideration. I had one years ago, sold by Montgomery Ward's, wish I had it now and would like to find one to restore. I'm in NJ.I would also be interested in a Coleman Jamestown in need of (reasonable) restoration. -- posted by maryanne531 » Miles40 - 1998 Coleman Santa Fe Just wanted to ask if anyone out there would have a manual for our 1998 Coleman Santa Fe. We just bought it, and spent the night in it in our back yard. We have 3 year old twins who now want to live there all the time.Cant wait to really get out there and try it.... -- posted by Miles40 » fubar_canada - In need of help Hi, I'm getting a 1976 Parklane tent trailer in a couple months, in the mean time I'm trying to get some info about it. I have been searching the net for days now without any luck. Just wondering if anyone could help me. Or if anything tell me where I can go to get info I need.
