» bbleigh - No Place Like Home

Paula,

We are planning to come home after 6 years in Europe and my children are afraid of the LEAP test. Go figure. My youngest is six and he thinks that the "States" is a foriegn country. He was born in Seattle so he thinks that is home.

We went home three years ago for a visit and it was hilarious. My kids didn't know what to make of it all. The baby was three then and everyone tried to get him to eat crawfish. No way. He took one look and said, "smells like fish, but its a bug. Its eyes are looking at me Moma." He wasn't having any of it.

(My husband grew up in Abbeville)

Take Care Paula. I've really enjoyed your articles.
