Hummingbird visitors

Hi!

Hope your summer is going great and that you're seeing lots of hummingbirds and butterflies. How are your goldfinches?

Just wanted to drop by and tell you what happened this morning. The temperature was pleasant for a change so I sat out on the porch near the hummingbird feeder. A little female buzzed down and hovered just inches from my face. She was so close I could feel the breezes her little wings were stirring! That was neat. I thought you might enjoy hearing about my adventure. hehe.

Hi Naomi, I've had some neat encounters with a hummer this year too. We've had some around for several years now, but this year we have one that likes to buzzz me when I'm working in the border. I never see him coming, just hear the buzz as he swoops near by checking out what ever it is I'm up to. Not just checkin out the flowers, cause he buzzes me in the vegetable garden to. These critters are definitely friendlier than I was ever led to believe.
