» coline3bettson - Wow...what a start !

At 51, I'm new...to Christ, town and gardening !
Thanks for inspiration, as I dream on...
Our new town is an north of Calgary, Alberta.
I hope someone will suggest plants to attract winged creatures to our empty garden.
Due to drought conditions the past few years, watering a garden may be challanging, as well.
Pax, Coline

Hello, Coline and thank you so much for your comments. I'm delighted that you were inspired on reading my article. Blessings to you in your new town way north of me in Alberta, to your new gardening ventures that lie ahead of you, and also to your new life in Christ! That is wonderful!

I'm sure if you peruse some of my past butterfly and hummingbird articles you'll find some suggestions about what to plant for attracting both butterflies and hummingbirds. Also, check out some of the links on my "Welcome Page" -- there are many that will prove useful to you, I'm sure. Feel free to ask questions in my discussion area here -- I'll do my best to answer you!

Have a wonderful week!

Thanks for you kind comments, Jerri. I'm delighted that you stopped by to read my latest article -- I appreciate it. Isn't Sprintime the most "luscious" time of the year following our often long and gray Washington winters! The daffodils are especially bright and cheerful now, and I'm so pleased that my newly planted ones of last fall ALL managed to find their way up through the dark, cold soil and are in full bloom. The tulips are up as well but haven't bloomed yet. I can't wait to see their colors as I planted a "mixed bag" of colors last fall. I'll take some digital photos of those when they're in full bloom. They should attract some of our early spring butterflies!

Take care, and thanks again for your visit. (-;
