Naomi,The butterflies in my area have left for their winter home as well. I had quite a few this year and even had an Admiral, which I had not seen for years. I do hope they're making a comeback. I loved seeing them flitter around Mom's flowers when I was a girl.
The boys and I saw more butterflies this year than last, though we did't get to the park to see them preparing for migration as we did last year.
Lots of good information here, my friend. I always enjoy visiting your topic and reading your delightful articles.
