You'll be delighted to know we've had a "regular" hummer for the past week or more -- finally! Yesterday he/she put on quite a show for us. First feeding on many honeysuckle blossoms that are blooming profusely every day, and then actually "perching" right on my feeder that hangs from the top of the arbor!! After taking several sips from the feeder, away it flew into our birch tree not far away. I'm going to take our binoculars and look amongst the branches of the birch tree and see if I can spy a hummer's nest! We've seen this hummer fly into that tree many times after feeding. This is one of the signs that their "could be" a nest there.
