Jerri, I'm glad you raised this question -- I'd never really thought about it before. Isn't it amazing how every creature ever created came with their unique, built-in design to survive in this world? I think it is just awesome!
So, everyone be sure to check out the link above as it does solve the "mystery" of how hummers get some much-needed sleep after whirring those tiny wings all day long. They must surely be weary after seeking food for survival every single day of their little lives!
