» Paul_Tyerman - Gourd Growing

Bill,

They really are wonderful things, although I haven't grown them. Some of the gourds I have seen are in rather fantastic shapes and sizes. Friends of mine use them for artwork.

Those same friends grew a plant but it never produced femal flowers for some reason and they never got a single fruit off it. No idea why. It grew rampantly with plenty of male flowers but we couldn't find a single female one the day we were there. Weird.

Good to see you writing again. Hopefully we'll see more of you now. Did you get my email the other day?

Bill,

Are you still alive? I have sent you a number of emails over the last while but not received any sort of response. Are you still with us? Are you OK?
