» Static - Domains... ;)
Beware! Buying domain names can be addicting!! *laughs* You start with one for a personal site, and next thing you know, you've got five or fifteen random but cool-sounding domains parked.Somehow I've managed to keep myself to two domains. Still haven't figured out what to do with the second one, I think that's the only thing that's kept me from buying more. ![]()

» biogardener - Checking and Registering
The best place to check for the availability of domain names is probably still Register.com. I find it easy to navigate and more informative than other sites which I have used.As far as I know, the cheapest place at which to register domain name is GoDaddy.com. They charge about $9 a year for the registration, and they do send reminders. You can, however, make the payment automatic so you don't have to worry about it.
Did you know about the new legislation which allows domain names to be resold without notifying the owner? I don't remember the details, only that there was a recent change.
