» _Boanerges_ - Hello Dianne
Hello Diane...Your Topic has helped much in the way of learning HTML.... Although I have not posted in your discussions, I have read many of your articles, and they have greatly helped me! Thank you...
I am trying to figure out how to write, open a new window, from a link....
Would you mind helping me?... I have tried on my own on the examples on how to do this but have failed to make it work....
If you would maybe, check out my topic page and choose a link and maybe show me how to do this? I would appreciate the help!......
All my links open within the same page and I thought it better if it opens in a new window, wouldn't you think this is true?
Thanks!
Wendell...

In response to Hello Dianne posted by _Boanerges_:Hey Wendell,
To open a link in a new window, simply put
target="_blank"
in your anchor tag... It's going to look like this:
< a href="http://www.suite101.com/" target="_blank" > Suite101 in a new window! < / a >
(Take out the spaces and you're good to go.)
Hope it helps... I am not an editor here, so I have no idea if you guys can change the html on your topic pages. But this is the code for "real world" html pages! ;)
