» desertblue - Book Review of Antiques and Collectibles - The Design Periods

I was thinking about what design periods I liked best when I read this ebook. I used to be a big fan of Arts and Crafts, esp the Mission Style, when I was younger. I also lived in Southern CA, where you see it everywhere and it fits in nicely.

Now I am more drawn to Art Noveau, Deco and the Atomic Age styles. Go figure. No more heavy, simple wood stuffs for me! My bedroom is rather Art Noveau, my kitchen is evolving into an Airstream Diner look, and I am changing over the living room from World Traveler to Deco-Retro revival.

Thanks for the great review, Jill! I'm intrigued by the "Deco-Retro" revival - I'd love to see how that looks.
