Jill,Looks very interesting. I'm not good with plants. My house has awnings on all the windows and the plants don't get enough light. It seems every plant that I've bought since I moved here has died.
At one time I lived in an apartment with a balcony and patio doors. There was lots of light from the north and I grew lots of plants. My spider plant hung right in front of that window and it brushed the floor.
