» teyes - E-Sangha: The Buddhist Community

Dear Friend,

I am writing in hopes that you'll consider joining the "E-Sangha :
Buddhist Community" -- an online community that acts as a forum for
followers of Buddhism and contains detailed information about
Mahayana, Theravada, and Zen Buddhism. Although newly setup, it is
currently one of the biggest and one of the most active discussion
board on buddhism with more than 500 members and 1100 different topics
on buddhism.

We offer you a large and active membership; a lively, thoughtful, and
tolerant discussion forum; a large collection of Buddhist religious
art on the Web; a treasure trove of Buddhist scriptural resources,
commentaries and archived discussions; dozens of links to other
quality sites relating to the practices and principles of Buddhism;
and much, much more!

Please come and visit us at http://buddhism.lioncity.net/ , and
– if you like what you see – join us! And of course, registration is
FREE!

Thank you for taking the time to read this note; and I hope to see you soon!

Thanks and Om Mani Padme Hum.
..

» Zen_Catma - E-Sangha censors unfairly

The Buddhist discussion group at http://www.lioncity.net/buddhism/ engages is heavy censorship. I was kicked off for saying that Buddhism did not deny the Atman.

Little does the owner of this site know, or some to care, that there is a rather large Mahayana Sutra which says that the Buddha's ultimate aim was to teach the Atman. You can check this Sutra out at: http://www.nirvanasutra.org.uk/index.htm
