» BORNTORUN - RESPONSE I WANT THE AUTHOR (MARY) TO KNOW THAT I ENJOYED HER ARTICLE ADMIRE HER COURAGE TO WRITE IT. I TOO STOOD IN LINE IN PITTSBURG IN THE SNOW AND RAIN MANY TIMES. HOW COULD SOME ONE SELL BACK STAGE PASS. MONEY DON'T MATTER AT THAT POINT. I HAVE TICKETS TO BOTH SHOWS IN DENVER AND GOT LUCKY. WHEN I SHAKE HIS HAND AND TELL HIM THANK-YOU I WILL INCLUDE (MARY)-- posted by BORNTORUN » jennywoo - Celebrity Auctions Dear Mary,Just say I enjoyed your open letter and couldn't agree more. I have a suggestion-how about raffling off such items? This way everyone has a fair chance and I bet more money would be raised in the end. Sure, there's more work involved in organizing and administrating a raffle, but it's worth it so not only the rich get a chance to support such worthy charities! -- posted by jennywoo » jerseygirl - Celebrity Raffle I did suggest a raffle in my open letter...and I agree, more money could be raised this way, since many more of us could afford to shell out a few bucks for a raffle ticket than to compete in a high stakes auction. It just seems like the opportunity to meet Bruce goes to the person with the deepest pockets, not the one with the deepest sincerity. I find this disheartening, but I try to take the attitude of "well at least I made it into the buiding!" -- posted by jerseygirl » redheadedwoman - BRUCE IN PARIS I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any bootleg CDs of last June's concert in Paris? Thanks so much -- posted by redheadedwoman » Soul_Driver - Re: BRUCE IN PARIS I have the Bootleg,But its from Dublin Manchester & Paris on Three Discs. If You need more info.E-Mail me at derek_dooley@yahoo.co.uk. Bye-- posted by Soul_Driver
