» emilylevitt - The Vicar of Dibley(sp?) I loved this show for the single season WPBA in Atlanta carried it. What hppened to it?-- posted by emilylevitt » Bogus - The Vicar of Dibley I love the show. I was channel surfing one night and I saw a couple of shows and decided to watch. The first show was Waiting For God with two old people and their so funny! After that was Fawlty Towers and that's a bit mad for me. Then I saw the Vicar of Dibley and ever since yesterday I thought it was the Vigar of Dibley... <:D Oh well. Anyways, did you know that Alice from the show was in the movie Notting Hill with Julia Roberts? I like her alot.Is there an offical site for the Vicar of Dibley? please e-mail me.... Thanx! Bye.
-- posted by Bogus » ertai72 - Darn those PBS people! a couple weeks ago I was searching for something watch on a Saturday night. I was flipping through channels and as I came on to PBS I noticed the actors had British accents. "Oh boy! British comedy!" I thought to myself. The show I was watching was the Vicar of Dibley which was great and was followed by three other hilarious britcoms: Keeping Up Appearances, Last of the Summer Wine and Waiting for God. I had seen Waiting for God before, but the rest were new to me. I watched the four shows for the next two weeks and was preparing for a nice evening of britcoms the next week, when I looked at my TV guide and noticed that there would be no britcoms tonight. "Oh well," I thought "they'll be back next week." But they weren't. Now the only ones they have on Saturday are keeping up appearances and As Time Goes By (the latter of which I don't like that much). Also, whatever happened to the Thin Blue Line. That used to be on every Thursday, but now it's gone.-- posted by ertai72
