Hi Lisa! I'm so excited to see your topic up. I love social history and it's fun to see our list of British topics becoming so large. I'm looking forward to working with you.

» thebattwoman - Link

Hi there,
thought this would be quicker than sending you an e-mail, so here goes.
In your editor fuctions you have a section called pages. Click on there and add your information on your article. When you've submitted it, go back into the page and it should be there. Click on the title not the edit button and when it comes up for you to view, look at the URL address in your address bar. Send me that address and I can add it to my article and then people can link to it directly from my article when it's posted.
Let me know if you have anymore problems. Thanks so much!
Beth
PS You can also if you wish add the link to any article you write, or your welcome message and show your article on your pages too.

» Shrewsbury - The Aristocracy

As a Brittish Nobleman living in America I have to say that some of the things that are said of the Nobility are unfair. the nobles of the 19th century knew no other way of life and fought to preserve it. I may not agree with the way they used their power, but I admire them anyway. The life of the modern aristocracy is not half as glamorous as it was in the late century.

I am also British living in America. I just wondered how you were received being a nobleman? I'm sure they love you!

Dear Lord Talbot,

Thankyou for your message.
I absolutely agree with you. The British
aristocracy has had a very bad press. I
would be very interested to hear what you
think of my articles about them.

As an Australian and Anglophile I'd also
like to know, if I may, why you chose to
live in America?

Regards,

Lisa

Lord Talbot,

As an English woman from Windsor, Berkshire ni England and living in Vancouver, I have to agree with you. It seems that a certain elegance has been lost, together with the era of innocence - of which is also lost.
