I've really enjoyed your two-parter about the inter-war slump, and the refreshing view that all wasn't bad bad in Britain in those years.

I wonder if the popular sense that things were in a bad way had somewhat to do with the merry isle's growing awareness in those two decades of its changing, and arguably receding, role in the world. This was, after all, a time when they were going from superpower to regional power (albeit a power in the most economically powerful region in the world--but a step down all the same).

Anyway, I thought I might let you and your readers know (read "plug my feature") that the current topic on the Alternative History page deals with a uchronia written by slump pol Winston Churchill during a slump in his own life.
