Breast Injury

One week ago I slipped on the tile floor of our new bathroom andslammed into the faucet with my left breast. After 48 hours of unrelenting pain (I nearly passed out when I took off my bra to put ice on it) I saw my doctor. I am on an antibiotic to combat possible infection, viox for swelling and pain and darveset (sp?) for the pain as well. As of today It is still very tender (if I try to be active or do any normal everyday things I get very tired and sore - unfortunately I am also left handed which makes it worse. The entire aerola is black. Today when I breathed deeply I get a dull ache on the right side of that breast. So... how long will I take to heal? Is there anything I can do to hasten recovery? Do I have anything major to be concerned about? (other than the fact that I am NOT Miss Grace and Coordination of 2003!). I can't find much on this type of injury to the brast. Any help would be appreciated!Susan
