» Zofi - Coping with reoccurance with sense of humour! I am a 53 year old widow diagnosed with BC - 1992Went thru a new protocol at BCCA in Vancouver BC Canada. Everything was great until 1996 when my husband passed away from lung cancer. I was getting back on track with new life, home, job. December I had flu and aches never went away after 7.5 years for the first time I never even considered it would be cancer but it is in my pelvis, spine, & scull. I am on Clodronate an osteoporosis drug and armidex which is similar to tamoxifen ( I took for 5 years after original treatment) I would like to meet upbeat people only I survived once and will again. But refuse to talk to negative people. -- posted by Zofi » Sandy_Warren - Re: Coping with reoccurance with sense of humour! In response to message posted by Zofi:Since this topic is retired, I don't know if you will see my message or not. I'm just now reading your post. It's a good idea not to talk to negative people. I am upbeat and would like to correspond with you, but your email address isn't listed. I am 54 and my breast cancer returned to my spine, hip bone, ribs, lung, skull and who knows where else. I was hospitalized in Nov-Dec, am on chemo now (Taxotere) and am doing great. I write about my experiences with breast cancer at my Suite101 web site, Women Veterans' Health (I am a veteran). Hope to hear from you! sandywarren@aol.com -- posted by Sandy_Warren » bette2231 - Re: Coping with reoccurance with sense of humour! In response to message posted by Zofi:Sorry I can't help with breast cancer, but I have found a winning combination that has ended and reversed my osteoporosis. I'll be happy to share it with you and anyone else who is interested. And, no, I'm not selling any products or making any money from this information. It's a spiritual thing with me. Email me (bette) at atlantisland.com. Cheers, -- posted by bette2231
