» bajones - I would be scared to have just a lumpectomy All though this procedure preserves the breast, does it not give you more of a chance of reoccurance? Tough issue. I had no choice but to have the mastectomy. I have come across alot of women that had the lumpectomy and had a reoccurance and ended up with a mastectomy. They found another spot on the same breast. I am going again today for a Bio.
