» Megamachine - Just in Time Matt...Ive got some problems...
Recently Ive been having some squat and deadlift problems..so this article was right on schedule.I dont know why..but Ive been getting real bad spasms in my lower back while squatting...and its never happened before..
Its not like Im squatting a huge amount of weight...about 420 max...and I use around 350 working weight..and thats butt to the floor...I dont like the sissy style squats..
Ive had the same situation with dead lifts recently...but with those Ive found if I drop my belt..its not as bad.
The thing is..my back spasms ..so bad that I have to sit for a good 20min. till it goes away..I mean I have little stabilization at all at that point.
Ive had my form checked many times..and all seems well...any clue as to what is going on..never squatting heavy again would throw me into a deep depression...ok maybe not..but I enjoy the taste of vomit coming up..when Ive pushed the envelope that far..heh..heh..heh..
Also...could you throw some pointers out for doing deads..that I might be missing in my form.
Thanx Bro,
Mega

» luv2train - gotta squat
I used to have a problem with by erectors hurting so bad after a workout it would wake me up in the middle of the night. Solution? abs. something about the opposing muscles being weaker (I used to rarely train abs) so the erectors would tighten even more.-- posted by luv2train
» Megamachine - Abs..
Thanx for the advice bro..but my abs get worked very well twice a week. I wouldnt think that my problem is with my abs...actually I dont know what it is...all I do know is that I love doing squats because of the immense weight that you can put up...its just plain rewarding..and the burn is incredible..-- posted by Megamachine
