» Dan_Ellsworth - Useful!

We live in Michigan. Middle son Matthew and his wife live in California. Judy alertly picks up bargain airfares. I know you didn't ask, but I'm 6/1", about 300 (pounds, not kg!) at last check. So was I glad to see this article? Well, I guess so!

The least intolerable flight from California to Michigan came recently when the place to change planes was in the middle of the distance (Denver), not one end (often Chicago) as we usually had. If you can get that kind of help, you might enjoy it.

Of course, if you're flying to Australia or Japan, that might not be much of a solution.

Thank you for this article.

Dan,
I hope your flights have seats that offer at least a modicum of comfort. Remember to move your legs as much as possible to help prevent DVT. Most of all, enjoy your time with your family!
