» daybreak2 - endo and low progestrone
I have a hx of endometriosis. After surgery to destroy the endo, my Dr put me on bc pills, but the side effects (wt gain, acne) caused me to stop the bc pills. Then I tried a natural oral form of progestrone and was symptom free for a few months. Then I started to have pain again. My Dr wanted me to get a hormone saliva test. Finally, I agreed. The results were extremely low levels of progesterone. Now my Dr wants to try a Progesterone topical cream which has worked with other patients with low progesterone. Does anyone have any info re: low progesterone?-- posted by daybreak2
