Hey, Shane!
is that a feather? And what's that green stuff on your shirt..oh never mind! I know sometimes I go out wearing more than just stray feathers!
Getting serious, I do plan on doing some species/genera profiles, but it won't be for awhile. I have so much stuff to cover before I get into that. It will take me quite a while to plow through it all. (plow...nice Iowa reference, huh? Well, I am from the Heartland!)
Anyway, thanks for the comments, continue to correspond, please. We should probably know what's going on with each others' column, so I'll check in from time to time, and besides, we bird people should stick together...what's the old saying about flocking together...oh well, bad pun. No, I am not brilliant all the time...just most of it Talk to you l8r.

Is that Bird poop on your shoulder? (non-bird person:EWWWW!!!!!!; bird person:Ahhhhh. Isn't that sweet???) LOL. Yes, we bird people are definitely, well, ummm, how should I say it? different. Haha! Yes, the treasures of the bird person, and the sickness of the non-bird person. How true!

I just finished up on the letter to Man. Ed. about the contest, so, I'll get to you later on the results!
