Hi P.C. Thank you for the great information on owls. I have a great horned owl in my woods, and a screech owl as well. I must say, the screech owl I hear doesn't sound melodious at all, but sounds rather like someone screeching or crying. Scared my granddaughter (a city girl) to death, when she heard it! I enjoyed the article and photo's. Thank you. Take care. Renie
