I'm so glad you enjoyed the article. Sacajawea certainly was a woman of inspiration. I can't imagine walking all that way carrying a baby on my back.

I didn't know about Sacajawea's daughter or the couple's trips after the mission west. This was really an interesting read.

I recently wrote about the expedition "goings-on" in Washington State to celebrate the 200-year-old event of Lewis and Clark's expedition: http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/wash... . I am going there now to put your article link in the discussion area.

I did a search and there have been a lot of articles on this subject here, but yours really provides some new information to our readers.
