Does anyone think George Lucas will complete the last triology of the Star Wars movies?

Sorry for replying late in this thread but I only just discovered this topic.

"Does anyone think George Lucas will complete the last triology of the Star Wars movies?"

Unlikely. In 1999, upon the release of The Phantom Menace, Lucas stated that Ep. 3 will be the last Star Wars film because he is getting too old to continue the saga. The last film he may work on is Indiana Jones 4, in which he will produce (he recently completed the script).

However, Star Wars fans need not worry. Lucas is planning a 100 episode Star Wars TV series, which will be filmed mainly in Sydney. But if you want to know the stories that would have been Ep. 7, 8 and 9, check out the Graphic Novels Dark Empire and Dark Empire II, which pick up where Return of the Jedi left off.smile

Did you vote in the Star Wars poll here? I voted Empire. In my opinion, it's the best film, even better than, if not as good as, A New Hope.
