Your pressed flower article is very interesting to read. I started the pressed flower hobby last year. My mom started 3 years ago. In fact, my whole family is in love of this hobby. This hobby can be a cheap hobby or to a quite expensive hobby. We dry the flora using silica gel. This way the foliage color are preserved. And the silica gel can be reused. After the gels absorbed moisture, they change color. In my case they become pink from blue. Then I put the gel in the microwave to dry. They turn back to blue again.
