» SandyMcC - Hi Travis! Hey, thanks for posting this piece! I've been reading a lot about screen writing lately, and even turned down a job helping someone turn their book into a screen play because I'm inexperienced. Maybe I can turn them on to you. I look forward to more of your work, and I'm subscribing!-- posted by SandyMcC » james_hess - Welcome As a, uh, old-timer around these parts and the trenches of Hollywood--Welcome.Until next time. . . Everyone says how my short stories sound like plays so I don't think I will do the screenwriting thing but I am trying to turn some short stories into plays. I think your topic will be helpful to me too. Thanks for the great links!

As I was packing for my big move next month, I was going over in my head what it would take to turn the book into a screenplay. Well, that stopped me right in my tracks. I know absolutely nothing about writing screenplays. But I remembered seeing you under New Topics so here I am. I've subscribed and look forward to this -- daunting? -- process you describe and learning somethingWelcome, Travis. I'm a newbie too. -- posted by Scribe4u
