» Carol Wallace - We should all be ashamed

All those things we said in an earlier thread about husbands who just don't seem to pay attention., I'll bet they are absorbing more that we say than even THEY know. And I Am SO glad to hear that the garden not only survived but prospered - and so did you!

» MaggieM - I was getting worried

Kate - you're back! I was wondering how things were "growing"......

Have you read Gay's tribute to her gardening companion?

» KateBerry - I feel so missed!

You guys are wonderful, and it's really great to hear that you missed me. (Gee, I'm starting to sound like Sally Fields, aren't I?)

Maggie, I haven't read Gay's tribute yet, but I'll make a point to get to it now. I'm still on a pretty restricted schedule, so I apologize if I'm not as 'visible' as I used to be. Just another 2 months until I'm on maternity leave, though, and then watch out!

» Carol Wallace - ARE YOU KIDDING???

With a baby on one ar, constantly being hungry, thirsty, or needing changing, AND your job - you expect to be MORE visible??

I really admire an optimist. ;-)

» DeborahT - babies and hubbies

Now Carol,
those comments we said about our hubbies were said with the greatest amount of affection at least on my part. What's the point of having someone to love if you can't gently tease them.

and no reason that Kate's baby should make her less visible. after all she'll have a great guy to take care of the little sweetie. and when the kids really get her down, there's nothing like a good session in the garden to work out hte frustrations and make you a much better person.

» KateBerry - Hear, Hear!

Then too, babies sleep so much (except at night) when they're first born. That's part of their charm, I think -- because we know that phase only lasts for a short time.

About the time that I get ready to hear back to work, Baby will be getting more active...and I'll probably be glad for a chance to do something less stressful, like go to court.
