What a coincidence! When I saw the mini series in January, I was fascinated with the house and just recently discovered the connection to Thornewood. I knew filming had been done elsewhere, but was sure it was in California only. When I found the info, I was floored. I read too that they will be filming at Thornewood in January 2003 or could be December 2002 for the film about Ellen Rimbauer. I'm adding your link to my USA link section. I've never seen Stephen King's "Rose Red", but now I hope to catch up with it sometime. I love bed and breakfasts and though these days I am but an armchair traveler, I certainly enjoy reading about them and checking out your recommended websites. My favorite inn in New Englad is the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Mass., and on a grander resort scale, Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York.
