The Cariboo has it's unique beauty, though it's not the same. We used to go up to Dekka Lake where my ex-inlaws had a cabin. I enjoyed fishing the lakes or lazing around in the clean air & sunshine. The unspoiled wilderness and the numerous lakes appealed to me. I didn't even know what a cattle guard was until I went up there.

Rainbow trout is the next best thing to salmon!
