The other night - whilst making beans on toast for my young son - i thought about how i used to love baked beans so much. I don't really have the opportunity anymore to indulge in beans on toast, but without really considering it, i give my son the same snack my parents used to give me as a boy. Heinz baked beans, like tea and marmite, are part of our British staple diet - it's amazing to think that after all these years, people still trust what they know and are comforted by.-- posted by JonasJuno
