Do you think the Ogopogo would classify as a working animal? He does attract tourists! A thought for your site! What a quaint name for a monster.I enjoyed the article. Hope you're doing well, Andrea. Yes Ogopogo is quite a hard word to teach one's children! If you get a chance, check out the Parks and wild life sites I have put the links up for. I was quite impressed with them and with your love of wildlife, I think you will be too! -- posted by andreajo13 » mikewell - Camping in the Interior Does anyone have any reviews on the various provincial campgrounds in the Okanagan Valley? I'm booked into Haynes Point and South Okanagan Lake later this summer but am considering moving to Fintry so that I don't have to move sites half-way through my vacation. As I haven't been to any of the three camps, I was hoping that someone had some information to share on the subject. Namely, what are the camp grounds like (shaded, private, secluded, etc.) and how much is there to do without getting in your car and driving. Thanks in advance for any information. -- posted by mikewell » andreajo13 - Re: Camping in the Interior In response to message posted by mikewell:Hi Mike, Thanks for visiting this page. I suggest you take a look at these two sites for help with your camping decision. http://wlapwww.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/index.h... http://www.bcadventure.com/adventure/cam... Hope this helps you out. From Kelowna down to Osoyoos, there are a number of campsittes as you probably already know. Also take a look at my Osoyoos article for ino on the Desert Centre. I can't say that you won't need a car to see all the sites in the area but camping in one spot and taking day trips to other places is how I would probably do it. Have a great holiday! -- posted by andreajo13
