This forum is still the place to go if you have any baseball questions; I always do my best to answer anything posted. Since discussion hasn't exactly been rampant here, I'd be more than happy to use this as a "Answer Man" forum, so feel free to speak up.

» bretseger - cheating with baseball bats

My name is Bret Seger I am 13 years old, I am doing a science fair project on "The Physics of Cheating in Baseball", I am filling hollowed out wooden bats with cork, sawdust and rubber balls, to see which makes a ball go farther and faster. If you know of any studies of comparing the different bats, or of any players that have had experience with any one of these filled bats, would you please let me know. I am doing my own experiments, however I need any research information I can get, and I am having a hard time finding any. Thank you I can be contacted at seger@pld.com

I am also doing the same project as Adrian Nelson:

I am curious if there were any responses to this inquiry and if so how I could see them for my own research. I can be reached at Laurie.eldridge@hp.com. Thank you. Rob
