That is a great question. I certainly do not know. I will try to find out, but I DO know that Clint Hartung, who played for the New York Giants, pitched with both hands.

I think he was facing a switch hitter and the hitter kept changing sides of the plate, depending on which hand Hartung kept his glove on.

Finally, Hartung put his glove on the side of the mound, got set on the mound, and put both hands around the ball.
