The reason I've never made one is because I don't care for them. I love pumpkin bread, pumpkin cake, pumpkin cookies. One of my quirks about food is that it not only has to taste good, the texture has to be just right. And pumpkin pie has a texture that gives me shudders. Isn't that ridiculous? And mushrooms - I love the flavor they impart into food when I'm cooking, but as for eating them - no way!
