Baha'i Poets - Famous and Not So Famous - IRead the article this discussion is about

» Dan_Ellsworth - You're making me wonder ... I have not thought of myself as one who appreciated poetry deeply, but three times in your article and a few of its links I was shown something of poetry, something of other sensibilities, and something of myself. The final quoted poem was such a brief and powerful story. Near the end of the obituary of the Toronto poet was a very short poem that might forever change my picture of Heaven. And the man from Detroit - the poem, only 14 lines, about those Sunday mornings - I had a quick catch of breath as I recognized something like my father's serving, caring spirit. Now maybe I'll have to find something else to say I'm not very interested in. Or maybe not. Thanks for an article that surprised me - about myself. -- posted by Dan_Ellsworth » justin_credible - So I made you wonder... Shalom Dan;I was touched by your remarks. These articles (yes there will be two more) have been quite an experiance for me as well. It is good to hear that this one had a positive effect. I have found that it is difficult to read some of the poems out loud. The emotions that they touch can be quite powerful. -- posted by justin_credible » earthrisep - Recentering - The Turning of the Tide and Robert Hayden Some here might also be interested in my essay"Recentering - The Turning of the Tide and Robert Hayden" http://www.fglaysher.com/Recentering.htm Further comments on aspects of Robert Hayden and the Bahai Faith may be found at Frederick Glaysher -- posted by earthrisep » justin_credible - Re: Recentering - The Turning of the Tide and Robert Hayden In response to message posted by earthrisep:Hi Frederick, Just a note to thank you for stopping by this spot on the web.
