Hi Terrie,
Great article and resolutions. I resolve to simplify my gardens, adding more natural structure and less store bought adornments. I also resolve to continue teaching my granddaughter the basic natural ways of gardening and caring for all living things. God Bless!

MyGrammie, one of my favorite plants has become the red flowering currant bush. It's easy care, has absolutely gorgeous clusters of red blossoms in the spring which hummingbirds adore, and berries in the fall and winter which lots of birds like. I only have one bush right now, but that's one of the three new plants I intend to put in the garden in 2002. I highly recommend it!

Oh Terrie,
Since red, white and blue is my garden scheme, I think your suggestion of red flowering currant bush, could add just the right touch to my front garden. Thanks for sharing.
