Great advice for parents as well as for babysitters! Actually, I could say the same about most of your articles, which I've just finished reading. I found all of them both enjoyable to read and full of good ideas.

Thank You. I learned most of my babysitting techniques from watching parents parent, mostly my own. One thing I have to say about babysitting, is that I get to see many different styles of parenting. I have a good idea of how I want to raise my children when I have some. I have been able to try different styles of discipline and see what works on different types of children. I feel that through my babysitting I am a lot better prepared to be a Mom than I would be otherwise.
