Tom the most likely race is Bathurst in October as this usually has some international flavour. Last year we had the reigning BTCC champ as well as several others. The last big name from the US was Scott Pruet.

I received the following from AVESCO about where to see V8 Supercars on US television in 2001;

"We are delighted to see that our sport has gained so many supporters abroad. We would love for the V8 Supercar racing to be telecast internationally and therefore we are currently in negotiations with the following networks to arrange television rights in North America:

* Speedvision
* BskyB"


So keep an eye on the program guides, especially for the first Sunday in October.

In the past Speed Channel has shown the V8's in the off season of US motorsport in December/January.

You might have to make do with NASCAR and World of Outlaws for V8 action.
