gardening in western australia
This archived discussion is "read only".
» aqua - petunias Im looking desperately for a petunia variety called SURFINA. This particular one is a trailing, cascading variety which I have first seen a couple of years ago in Europe. Has anybody heard of this variety and can tell me, if it is available in Australia and where available for purchase???Im looking forward hearing from you. Thank you, Aqua -- posted by aqua » Jojo - Surfinia Page Hi there in Western AustraliaI'm not sure where you might find surfinias in your area. They are part of a very popular bedding plant program called Proven Winners though, so you will probably find them fairly easily each spring in garden centres. Here's some info on Surfinias so you can read about them in the meantime. I'm sure John will be able to tell you whether or not they are available in Australia. -- posted by Jojo » JohnB_32 - petunias - surfina Dear AquaI have researched info about surfina or surfinia. Thanks very much for your interest, I will keep trying to find out more about the subject. Regards John -- posted by JohnB_32 » JohnB_32 - petunias called Surfina Dear AquaThe name surfina is apparently a proprietary name and the company/organisation who use that name may be found by referring to plant wholesalers. I will have a try in Perth and see if I can find out a little bit more about who/where it comes from. Thanks
