I have an attached 17 yr old boy. He is very lazy and lays around all day. He refuses to go to school, get a job or help out around the house. He is 6 feet tall and too big to boss around. He can get up and leave with his friends for a couple hours (probably to buy pot). How do I get him ready for adulthood and moving out?????

I know just how you feel. My 18 years old attached son sounds just like your son. I am lost knowing what to do. He is a homeschooled/unschooled kid. Now in college. Very bright. Very charming. Very manipulative. I believe he has now just stopped going to classes. I am sure he is smoking pot. So, he will flunk out . I have read and re read the Indigo Child. He is one for sure. I am lost at what to do.

He was they most loving , secure, great kid until about 16. Since than it has been hell. When I let him choose his own way, He chooses to do nothing. I have to believe this is just a period of his life he is going through. That he is trying to make his own way.

I don't know what to do except to just keep loving him through this.
